Ear Wax Removal [Ear Irrigation]
Posted on 16 Jul 2019
From the 1st April 2019, the practice will cease to provide ear irrigation as we are not commissioned to provide this service and also due to the risks the procedure itself carries.
Ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists advise the best treatment for wax or cerumen that is causing deafness, in order to avoid unnecessary irrigation of the ears (which in itself carries risks), is the use and application of olive oil to the ear.
